Service Overview KVH Hong Kong Data Center 1 (HKDC1) is strategically located in proximity to the Hong Kong Exchange (HKEx) and was specially designed to serve the mission critical needs of the financial industry. KVH HKDC1 has Tier III+ architecture and provides financial enterprises with optimal HKEx Proximity Colocation Solutions that meet the high demands of leading edge low latency electronic trading strategies, including High Frequency Trading (HFT). As KVH is a recommended and preferred proximity hosting and access point provider of Asia’s major financial exchanges, customers can be assured of the highest quality of service and support. Furthermore, KVH offers a one-stop solution of ultra low latency global network services to connect Hong Kong and the world’s key business and financial cities. KVH’s low latency network spans across our international Points of Presence (POPs) in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, Chicago, New York, Shanghai, Busan, Seoul, Mumbai, London, Los Angeles, and Sydney. KVH HKDC1 is capable of providing true 2(N+1) power redundancy with dual power feeds traversing through separate infrastructure to reach the racks. The facility is equipped with extensive security controls including biometric authentication systems, and also has emergency power supply with 24 hours of fuel storage available for cases of power outages. KVH’s data centers throughout the Asia Pacific region are a key part of KVH’s information delivery platform, which combines data center services with an extensive range of network services, managed IT services, and robust cloud solutions to enable multinational customers to establish IT service hubs that support their business in Asia. All KVH data center services are supported by KVH’s 24 x 7 bilingual (Japanese and English) Service Desk.
