DESCRIPTION
Find out how Topic Maps is integrated into SharePoint to provide enhanced solutions for metadata management, intranet navigation and general improved content findability. Based on Networked Planet's TMCore SharePoint module the tutorial will explain the relationship between ontology and content, how editors create topic maps from inside SharePoint and how advanced web parts can be used to deliver advanced search and navigation of SharePoint portals using Topic Maps. A brief overview of SharePoint 2010 and Topic Maps will also be presented.
