CLS After Work Talk zusammen mit Webilea am 23.

Crowdfunding vs. Crowdsourcing
Crowdfunding: describes the collective cooperation, attention and trust by people who
network and pool their money and other resources together, usually via the
internet, to support efforts initiated by
other people or organizations.Crowdsourcing: is a distributed problem-solving and production model. In the classic use of the term, problems are broadcast to an unknown group of solvers (crowd) in the form of an open call for solutions.

EU: Various platforms are developing and as such crowdfunding is becoming a true alternative in the corporation and project funding environment
Asia: first sites have recently been launched. However it is much more challenging to set up companies as the regulatory environment is complicated
CH: Various online funding sites have been launched recently, however there is only one site that addresses the crowd (FuW)

Regulatory boundaries
Crowdfunding is a method of financing projects and corporations over the internet. This novelty has therefore not been covered by many authorities so far.
Initiating a change of existing rulings is mostly very bureaucratic and therefore a tedious task
