Objectives:• Increase website traffic and promote the release of new Warner Brother DVDs via Facebook applications.
Execution:• To submit an entry, consumers directed to enter the sweepstakes online by logging into their Facebook account (or creating one), and running an application.
•Viral entry also included e.g.: • Sending the “Power Ring” to a friend• Inviting their friends to collect and trade virtual collector cards
• Ventura responsible for administration & legal compliance.
Results:• WB & DC were pleased with the promotion
• Promotion was a success in terms of creating buzz (via the viral elements of the promotion) as well as using Facebook as a portal for creating significant
interaction among consumers with the promotional content.
