Eye Tap Technology Eye Tap is a device that is worn in front of the eye that actsas a eye to record the scene available to the eye as well as adisplay. Eye Tap intakes the world around it and augments theimage the user sees allowing it to overlay computer-generateddata over top of the normal world the user wouldperceive. 10. Smart Grid TechnologySmart grid is an electrical grid that uses information andcommunications technologies to gather and act oninformation about the behaviors of suppliers andconsumers, in an automated fashion. It improves the efficiency, reliability, economics, andsustainability of the production and distribution ofelectricity. 11. 4G Technology4G is the fourth generation of cell phone mobilecommunication standards. This system provides mobile ultra broadband Internetaccess with data rates of 300Mbps in mobility to 1Gbpswhile stationary. The data speed can make the device run about its purpose. 12. AndroidAndroid is a Linux-based operating for mobile devices suchas smart phones and tablet computers, developedby Google in conjunction with the Open handset Alliance. 13. SpeakerGoogle glasses are designed to be hands free wearabledevice that can be used to make or receive calls too. So aspeaker is also designed by the ear. 17. ButtonA single button on the side of the frame sophisticates theglasses to work with the physical touch input. It can be usedin multi-purposeful ways and it acts according to thecontext. 18. MicrophoneA microphone is also put in, that can take the voicecommands of the wearer of user. This microphone is alsoused for having telephonic communication. 19. AdvantagesEasy to wear and use.Sensitive and responsive to the presence of people.Fast access of maps, documents, videos, chats and muchmore.A new trend for fashion lovers together being an innovativetechnology.A spectacle based computer to reside directly on your eyesrather than in your pouch or pocket.A useful technology for all kinds of handicapped/disabledpeople. 20. DisadvantagesCan be easily broken or damaged. Users will have a toughtime taking care of it.It may lead to accidents while driving. The resource for running these glasses is still unknown. Will there be a battery or it will run using solar energy?Privacy of people may breach with new glasses. Can be used only in metro cities. 21. Future ScopeGoogle Glass is as futuristic a gadget weve seen in recenttimes. Its limited in scope right now, but the future, Googlebelieves, is bright and the device itself is incrediblycompelling.Google is trying their hardest to push the Project Glassthrough the FCC this year.
