DESCRIPTION

Since 2011, Google has been attributing blog and web content to the original author. Let’s look at the process and discuss how you can gain blog and web content credibility through Google authorship. There are two primary methods for establishing authorship:email verification or rel=author markup. You have shown people that you are proud of what you do and have put a face on your work. Many web visitors are more inclined to follow a link with a face. We must always battle with those who copy our work to use on their own blogs or website. Once Google has established you as the original author, your search results will appear ahead of any copied material. The major search engines must first trust you and by producing quality web content with the authorship markup, you can gain their trust quicker. Authorship is a positive tool to impact your audience and search engines at the same time.
