Development of new technology for collaborative and distributed working. We gained insights about how people interact with each other to solve

We have developed applications focused on the user experience, and integrated mobile platforms and multi-device environments.

Design and development of a solution for distributed and real time monitoring of huge amounts of events. In this solution we also developed visualization

techniques and methods for analytics generation. The application further supports social interaction. In this project we have worked with Big Data sets,

Design and development of an end-to-end system for an artificial vision problem. In this project we faced the problem of solving real world objects

detection and recognition using computing graphics, image processing and machine learning techniques.

Development of speech recognition systems for Spanish language. In this area we applied signal processing techniques, statistical machine learning to

large corpus of spontaneous speech to build acoustics models.

I’ve been working as a Software Developer professionally for the last six years. During

these years I gained experience developing enterprise oriented solutions such as

intranets, portals and other web applications. Nowadays I’m looking forward to work more closely to research areas. In my spare time I

like to travel, read and learn new stuff.

Jesica discovered she wanted to be a Computer Engineer at the age of 13, with a basic knowledge of HTML, Visual Basic and Pascal. Since then, she loves exploring and

learning new technologies, specially innovations in computational linguistics, data

mining and AI. Besides computers, Jesica enjoys spending her time in other passions:

figure skating, reading and photography.

RESEARCHER

Researcher at Corvalius, and Assistant Professor on Computational Intelligence at UNER. I have a Ph.D. on Computer Science

from FCEN - UBA, and a Bioengineer degree from UNER. During my Postdoc I was an

International Fellow at STAR Lab, SRI International, working on Automatic Speech Recognition. My interest areas are Machine

Learning, Signal Processing, and Bioinformatics

principle). Through my career I have been involved in several high profile projects of high complexity in the oil drilling, telecommunications, banking and technology industries. Specialties: massive

parallel programming, high performance computing, machine learning, computer graphics,

algorithms and software development.
