OCNI and DCP
• OCNI:– SAIL proposed extension to
the OCCI interface/API from OGF
– Extends the API to not only manage ‘compute’ and ‘storage’, but also ‘networking’, in a cloud environment.
– Service control model for presenting high level resource requirements and delegate them across infrastructure (IaaS) services.
• DCP:– SAIL proposed protocol for
negotiating connectivity parameters on domain boundaries
– Typically such parameters are dependent on domain specific technologies and management policies not disclosed by the domain. Hence cannot normally be set by the requester.
