Razer’s gaming laptop is powerful, but what sets it apart from the competition is its size. Unlike other gaming laptops that are too thick and heavy to carry around, the Razer Blade Pro is about the size of a Macbook Pro.

Like the Razer Blade Pro, the GS70 is particularly light and thin for a gaming laptop. But it’s less expensive than Razer’s machine. $1800 isn’t cheap for a laptop by any means, but it’s a deal for a gaming-focused, 17.3-inch display Ultrabook.

Lenovo’s IdeaPad Z710 isn’t marketed as a gaming laptop, but is capable of decent performance and starts at under $600. The integrated Intel HD 4600 can play almost all games, though newer titles will only work on the lowest settings.

This is another option for gamers on a budget. Acer’s $600 laptop features a dedicated graphics card that offers better performance than Lenovo’s integrated solution, but the 15.6-inch screen is a couple inches smaller and isn’t full 1080p.
