1. CREATE AN ACCOUNT:

• Create an account at Aurasma Studio• https://studio.aurasma.com/login• You need an email address and a password• You will then see this dashboard

2. YOUR ACCOUNT

• From this account you can create Auras that can be accessed by multiple devices.

• Creating an aura on a device locks it to that one device.

• You can store images, videos and auras in this account

3. CHANNELS

• You will need to create a channel – I suggest that each department creates their own channel.

• For ease, please name them PHSEnglish, etc…• People will need to follow your channel on the

Aurasma app to watch your videos

4. TRIGGER IMAGE:

• The Trigger Image is the image that needs to be scanned in order for the video to play.

• You can upload trigger images by clicking on the Trigger Image icon

4. TRIGGER IMAGE:

• You then click on ‘add’ to upload images.• Images need to be in jpeg or gif format.• They will then stay in your folder.

5. OVERLAY:

• The overlay is the video that you want to open when the image is scanned.

• Smaller, shorter videos work best.• 100 mb is the limit, but smaller videos will

upload and stream more quickly.• Videos need to be in mp4 or flv format.

5. OVERLAY:

• You upload an overlay in the same way as a trigger image

6. AURAS:

• You can then link the trigger image and overlay into an Aura

• To add an aura, click ‘add’

• You then add the properties – give the aura a name; choose the trigger image and place it in your channel

• Then add the overlay – select the video that you wish to play.

• Choose the properties – this sets the action that you would like to happen when the video is tapped or double tapped.

• You can make the video whole screen, or link to a website for example.

• You can set more than one action for each Aura.

7. SHARING:

• Your Aura is now created.• By clicking on the channel in the list, you can

generate a link to subscribe.• This link can be sent to anyone who wishes to

follow the channel.

7. SHARING:

• You can also generate a QR code from the link that is generated.

• Alternatively, people can follow the channel in the Aurasma app.

8. VIEWING

• Auras can be viewed by anyone who follows your channel through the Aurasma app.

• They will need to create an account through the app, then each time they sign in their follows will remain.

• You can follow as many channels as you wish, so people could follow each department channel and be able to access all of the videos.
