Email Email or electronic mail are text messages that may
contain files, images and other attachments it is send through a network of specified individuals or group of individuals.
Blog A journal that is available on the web. Posting on a Blog are almost always arrange in
chronological order. The activity of updating the blog is called blogging and
someone who keeps a blog is called a blogger.
Online ChatOnline Chat This allows you to send messages back and forth
immediately to one another through the use of internet connection
Online chat doesn’t cause you anything extra, as long as you have an internet connection
Social Bookmarking It is tagging a website and saving it . Since it is online you are able to send it to
your friends You can also look for other interesting sites
that other people have tag.
URL Uniform Resource Locator A global address of documents and other
resources on the world wide web
Streaming Streaming means listening to music or watching a
video “real time” There is no file to download just a continuous

Podcast A form of audio broadcasting on the internet As long as you have some way to play music on your
computer you will be able to listen to Podcast.

way to place free phone calls
WIKI A Web application which allows people to add,
modify or delete content in collaboration with others.
It differs from a blog because the content is created without any defined owner or leader.
Social Networking Websites function like an online community of internet
users Once you granted access to the social networking site you
will be able to socialize with other people
WWW World Wide Web Consist of all public Web sites connected to the
Internet worldwide
HTML Hyper Text Markup Language HTML contains HTML tags and plain text HTML documents are also called web pages
Web Feed A data format used for providing users with
frequently updated content Can help us in staying up to date with the
content of a large number of sites
