1. Tripod joint (Code: T&A002)

HOW TO USE:

All of our equipments are prepared to receive the joint piece at their base using 4 setscrews.

1. Attach the piece to the equipment base using 4 M8 nuts.2. Turn the knob of the joint piece counterclockwise to unblock the joint and set it to the desired position.3. Attach the (female) piece to the head of the (male) tripod. It is helpful to use some type of lubricant to facilitate the coupling and uncoupling of the piece and the tripod. 4. Block the hinge clamp. Set the joint in the desired position and turn the knob of the joint piece clockwise to block the joint.

DESCRIPTION:

35 mm hinge clamp for fast and simple connection between SAMI® Ecowood equipment and all of our tripods. The joint allows a full 180º rotation at 15º intervals.

2. Long tripod (Code: T&A001)

DESCRIPTION:

Ehe long adjustable height tripod facilitates work with the SAMI® Ecowood equipment by reaching treatment heights of nearly 3 meters. This is a light, easy to transport element that reaches the desired height e�ortlessly via a crank handle.

HOW TO USE:

1. Position the tripod as close as possible to the area to treat, on a space-available basis.2. Unfold the 3 legs until a stable position is reached.3. Turn the knob counterclockwise for easy movement of the center column. Release the crank handle and, if necessary, turn until the center column is at its lowest position.4. Attach the SAMI® Ecowood equipment to the tripod head using the joint. Set the position according to instructions under point 1. Tripod joint from this User Manual.5. Take the equipment to the desired treatment height using the crank handle. Never surpass the maximum height instructed on the center column of the tripod. Turn the knob clockwise to set the desired height.6. At the end of the treatment, release the center column by turning the knob counterclockwise and set the column at its lowest position for extra stability. Uncouple the equipment and retract the tripod’s legs to facilitate transport.




DESCRIPTION:

Metallic extension piece to reach greater heights for treatment, improving total reach more than one meter. This piece attached to a tripod enables the user to reach structural elements as high as 4 meters, such as ceilings, beams, altarpie-ces, etc.

HOW TO USE:

1. Attach the smaller diameter end (male) to a Tripod joint (under point 1 of this Manual) previously attached to a SAMI® Ecowood equipment.2. Prepare the tripod as described under points 2 and 3 of this Manual. Attach the larger diameter end (female) to the tripod’s center column.3. Turn the crank handle to the desired height. It is essential to work with maximum stability and caution, as the weights and heights reached induce considerable forces.

DESCRIPTION:

The simple adapter is a simple metal piece working together with two joints to allow 360º work with a certain separa-tion from the tripod for all SAMI® Ecowood equipments. This guarantees total access to all types of surfaces, walls, beams and corners. It allows positioning of the equipment at 3 di�erent heights along the center column. In order to use the simple adapter, an additional joint, other than the one supplied with each equipment, is needed.

Working together with the joint, the simple adapter allows 360º equipment turns (with 45º intervals), so that all types of elements to treat can be reached.

HOW TO USE:

1. Attach the cylindrical support to any of the three available ori�ces, depending on the desired working height.2. Attach the coupling with the Tripod joint (described under point 1 of this Manual) using M8 screws, nuts and washers.3. Attach the set to the end of the tripod’s center column.4. Attach the other end of the adapter and a Tripod joint (described under point 1 of this Manual) previously �xed to a SAMI® Ecowood equipment.5. Prepare the tripod as described under points 2 and 3 of this Manual. Attach the larger diameter end (female) to the tripod’s center column.6. Turn the crank handle to the desired height. It is essential to work with maximum stability and caution, as the weights and heights reached induce considerable forces.

5. Adjustable wheel kit (Code: T&011)

DESCRIPTION:

3-wheel set (one for each leg of the tripod) with their corresponding mechanisms, to facilitate mobility of the set. Each one of the wheels has its own brake to immobilize the tripod during the treatment.

Adjustment is made via a simple knob and screw mechanism. Because each leg can be set to the desired height, working on steps and uneven surfaces is possible; this guarantees the stability of the set. Additionally, if the supports are set to the topmost point, the height gain is slightly more than 9,8”.

HOW TO USE:

1. Wheel mounting must be made when the tripod is unladen. Height adjustment for each leg can be made before the mounting or at any time thereafter.2. For the long tripod, each leg is to be attached to the wheel stub. Fasten using the adjusting screw. Repeat procedure for all three wheels.3. Once all 3 wheels are set and �tted, mount the set as explained under points 2, 3, 4 and 5 of this Manual.4. Move the set to the treatment area. Once the treatment position is achieved, block the brakes by driving the tab downward.5. At the end of treatment, and every time the set is to be moved, unblock each brake by driving the tab upward.6. Before removing the wheels, the equipment and the extensions must be dismantled.

6. Non-adjustable wheel kit (Code: T&010)

HOW TO USE:

1. Wheel mounting must be made when the tripod is unladen.2. For the long tripod, each leg is to be attached to the wheel stub. Fasten using the adjusting screw. 7. Case for complete EW1100iSW autonomous equipment (Code: CASE006)

DESCRIPTION:

Case that grants easy and safe transportation of the equipment thanks to its wheels and extensible handles.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Light and durable, indestructible and both dust and waterproof, with double-throw, easy to open latches, rigid outer panels, folding handles, protective, pre-cut foam, telescopic handle, high resistance polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings.

8. Case for double head equipment (Code: CASE003)

DESCRIPTION:

Case that grants easy and safe transportation of the equipment thanks to its wheels and extensible handles.

9. Infrared thermometer (Code: SAMIEW007)

HOW TO USE:1. Pull the trigger and direct the laser beam to the desired point to measure. 2. The temperature is immediately displayed (Con�gurable for either Celsius ºC or Fahrenheit ºF). 3. Maximum temperature appears at the bottom of the display.4. The display will go o� after a few seconds of inactivity.

10. Digital thermometer with needle sensor (Code: SAMIEW008)

HOW TO USE:1. Make sure a drill is available or otherwise �nd a cavity on the wood to introduce the temperature sensor.2. Press ON to activate the thermometer. Room temperature measurement will be displayed after a few seconds.3. Introduce the sensor inside a pre-drilled hole. Temperature measurement is not immediate; it is displayed after some seconds or even minutes.4. Press OFF to turn o� the thermometer.

DESCRIPTION:For instant surface temperature reading. The infrared thermometer comes with a laser to locate the measurement point. Current temperature is read and maxi-mum temperature is registered along the measurement.

DESCRIPTION:For interior temperature measurement. The thermometer features a needle or extended sensor that can be introduced inside a cavity on the wood.

11. Wave detector (Code: ELECTRIC001)

DESCRIPTION:This detector measures electromagnetic power density emitted by electronic equipment. It features an antenna that can be drawn near the radiation source.

This detector model is the most appropriate for use on SAMI® Ecowood equipment because of its simplicity. A continuous beep indicates a high level of radiation. The beep will stop if we move away from the radiation source. That is the distance to keep throughout the treatment.

HOW TO USE:1. Make sure the antenna cable is connected to the device.2. Select the sensitivity using the selector on the right of the screen. For high sensitivity, select H: The needle will move on a scale from 0 to 1 mW/cm2. For normal sensitivity, select N: The needle will move on a scale from 0 to 10 mW/cm2.3. Press ON / OFF to activate the device. the LED �ashes and a brief beep can be heard.4. Move around the zone to monitor carrying the device. The measurement appears on the blue scale of the display. A continuous beep indicates the presence of electromagnetic waves. It is a good idea to stay away from such source until there is no sound.5. Press ON / OFF to turn o� the device. The LED will stop �ashing.

12. Listening device (Code: ELECTRIC002)

DESCRIPTION:

Listening devise design to detect wood boring insects.It accurately localizes insects.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Connect the headphones.2. Turn ON the sound box with integrated sensor.3. Put the acoustics detector on the wood and listen carefully.

When there are insects in the area, you listen the sound of insects when cracking the wood.

It is recommended to use it before and after the treatment in order to prove that it was e�ective and there is not any more infestation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

With 5 temperature probes, this device monitors temperature increase during the treatment with short wave. Each probe can be located in a point of the area to be treated, while its temperature is individually displayed in a luminous screen.

13. Multi-probe temperature gauge (Code: ELECTRIC003)

DESCRIPTION:

It is specially recommended for the treatment of objects with artistic value, historical pieces,etc.

It works with the integrated 9V battery.

It includes a practical sleeve for its transportation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

This device monitors the level of moisture in wood before and after the treatment with short device.1. Turn the device ON and drill the wood.2. Temperature appears in the screen with an accuracy of ± 0.5%.Measurement range: 2 - 60%
