Ephesians 2:4,5,10 Because of his great love for us,

God who is rich in mercy made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our transgressions — It is by grace you have been saved….. We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, that

God had already prepared in advance for us to do.

"The essence of stewardship is the use of God-given resources for the accomplishment of God-given goals. When we define our success based on our identity and stewardship, this frees us to be ourselves. We only find our real self when we

define our self in light of our Caller.

I didn’t find my true self by seeking more of it; I found my true self by seeking God, our Caller. Before we are called to something, we are called to Someone. Before we are called to do, we are called to be. The idea

that we are the captain of our souls, the designer that can choose our destiny, is

false.”
