Why study what the Bible says about the End Times?


#1, Because God has revealed things to us in His Word

Revelation 1:1-31 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.

#4, Because we affirm that God is unfolding His glorious plan

1 Corinthians 15:24-2624 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.


#5, Because of such hope we are active in fulfilling our assignment

2 Corinthians 5:10-1110 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; …..

Daniel prophesied that after 483 years (69 weeks, each week = 7 years) from the time of the issuing of

Matthew 2430 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.


Matthew 2432 "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!

Matthew 2444 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?


Matthew 2446 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,'


Matthew 2449 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,


Matthew 2451 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
