Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord because the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, being himself the savior of the body. But just as the church submits to Christ, so also the wives in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it, in order to sanctify it, having cleansed her by the washing of water by the word, to present it to himself glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and blameless. Husbands should love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. " Ephesians 5:22-28

It is observed that most problems that occur in today's society still related to discrimination against women comes from an ancient thought not only of Christianity but of most Western religions. The verse above is the best example of what is generally speaking in churches whether Catholic or Protestant as the submission of women to men simply because men are the 'head', or, having been created first. However, this thought or that kind of interpretation is only to support the idea, old-fashioned and prejudiced, that the woman is a mere instrument of man's desire to fulfill functions primarily serve. Can not imagine any discrimination in this type of relationship or analogy is made. Quite the contrary is proof that the relationship between people is an equal and a proof that in a marriage the man must give himself fully, unconditionally as Christ did to the church. The passage comes to be utopian to think deeply: were all husbands now able to die for their wives? Some can only speak in aggressive tone, let alone die. It is impossible to imagine a true Christianity that discriminates against women and that Christ himself walked with them, taught them, after his resurrection became for them appear first. The distortion and discrimination against women still exist in churches are visible and disturbing. In addition to the prohibition in regard to ecclesiastical offices, the above verses mean that husbands become arrogant and do not respect those who should love unconditionally. It is not unusual, on account of religious thought and imbued etched, cases of men beating their families. And believe it is quite common in the religious, just a blind faith that does not allow time divorce itself, thoughts of "married, now only after death." May we understand the importance of all of them in our lives. Thanks

to women, after all life would be much more boring, less happy and less happy, happiness is really only true when shared. Let us not also that religion causes women to keep silent before the attack on its image, honor and integrity.
