Ghadeer In Islam

18th of Dhul-Hajjah: Prophet Muhammad (MAPBUHHP) coming back from his farewell Pilgrimage.

Surah Maedah, Ayah 67

“O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.”

Pond of Khom (Ghadeer-al-Khom)

• “I am about to be called (to die) and thus I must respond. I am responsible and you are responsible, then what do you say?”

• “We witness that you have informed, advised and striven. May Allah bless you.”

• “Do you not bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Apostle, and that His Heaven is true, His Hell is true, death is true, the Resurrection after death is true, that there is no doubt that the Day of Judgment will come, and that Allah will resurrect the dead from their graves?”

• Yes, we bear witness.

• “O Allah, bear witness.”

“O people, Allah is my Lord and I am the master of the believers. I have more priority over believers than themselves.”

“Of whomsoever I had been Master (Mawla), this Ali here is to be his Master.”

“O Allah, be a supporter of whoever supports him (Ali) and an enemy of whoever opposes him and divert the Truth to Ali.”

Surah Maedah, Ayah 3

• “… This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion … .”

• “Ali is to me as Harun was to Musa.”

• “I’m the City of Knowledge and Ali is its Gate, whoever seeks knowledge should enter through the gate.”

• “I leave among you two weighty things: The Book of Allah and my Household (Ahlul-Bayt), as long as you grasp on both of them you never deviate, and they do not separate from each other until they return to me in Pool of Kawsar.”

• “The example of my Household is the example of the Ark of Noah. Whoever gets on the Ark is safe and whoever refuses to get on will drown.”

• “Oh Ali, you are The Right Path.”

• The Prophet (MAPBUHHP) became martyred in 70 days later.

• Some companions decided to have someone else as their leader.

They forcefully marginalized Imam Ali (PBUH) and the Household of The Prophet (MAPBUHHP)

Imagine the Ummah of Islam

• The Prophet (MAPBHHP) was its Pilot

• He knew how to interpret Quran and how to apply it to people’s lives so they grow and become the most prosperous Ummah.

• Ali and Ahl-ul-bayt (PBUT) were its co-pilots.

• But, what companions did after The Prophet (MAPBHHP) was similar to what the passengers of the plane did.

• Today, we Mulsims should not wonder why we are not where we were supposed to be …

But, there is still a hope …• Allah Almighty has saved the last true successor of The

Prophet (PBUHHF) for the time that enough Muslims realize that the only appropriate person to replace the pilot is the co-pilot.

• We ask Allah Almighty to hasten the coming of His last Appointed One, who brings the whole humanity to His Right Path.
