James Dye Mission to Caracas April 30, 2015 JIM & JUDY DYE Spring in Caracas, Venezuela 2015 brought the church many new types of growth. We began new evangelism by way of DBS which we taught the entire church for 2 months to enable every member to reach their friends and neighbors for Christ in groups of 3-4. Several have started their small groups and we hope to keep this up and seen God work in a great way in Caracas. We call these points of light for new believers. This also helps with problems from government and marches or protests to keep people together without exposing them to any danger. We are thankful that we have our son John Dye and his wife Zandra to serve along side of us in this ministry. James Dye Mission to Caracas 1 Serving the Lord on the Mission field since 1972

We are so pleased to finally see some fruit for the park evangelism in the form a new baptized believers 2 women were recently baptized bringing with them their lovely families. Lily has 4 children and Adeleda has a little boy.

Presently Jim is working with the Rehab Center, and teaching English (using Bible) to those who ask he is

also working with some couples in counseling. One of the young couples he was counseling ask him to be baptized the first time they met. So Franceline was baptized Sunday.

We were pleasantly surprised that another young couple that John had been talking with decided to place their membership with us in El Bosque.

Another exciting event sunday was that we announced to the congregation that we were taking on 2 apprentices for the ministry. Saul and Luis They will began an intensive training in ministry skills and have been added to the monthly preaching rotation.

Sunday was excitingly busy as we also had our son Steve and his family with us to say goodbye to the congregation as they leave this week for the Island of Tenerife, Spain. We asked the leaders to pray for them as we send them off to begin a new work. This will be a bit difficult as we see them leave and take away 4 of our

grandchildren. We will miss them terribly. You can follow their new work by checking out Pray4Tenerife in Facebook.

We will be home for a short visit in May and June and are available for short presentations and/or speaking. Please contact us by email at [email protected] or by calling us at 513-898-1858. Once we are Stateside after May 20 please call at 513-825-3681.
