ASSURANCE

The words that you are about to read are not the words of some man; They are the tried and tested, they are anointed, and power filled words of a loving God spoken just for you, words to meet your every need.

It is a Fathers letter to a son or daughter in distress, to a child who knows pain and sorrow intimately.

Perhaps today you are filled with fear of what the future holds, perhaps you feel like life’s not worth living, well listen to the Lord speak again and again, allow ‘His’ words, and ‘his’ promises to heal your mind and body and make you free.

My dear child,

So today again you question where I am when you’re most in need; In the darkness of pain you wonder do I care, in the ocean of doubt you feel as though you are drowning.

Can you truly believe that the one who gave up his life for you would ever give up on his own? Am I not still your father even when you feel abandoned?

Remember I am as a Father to the fatherless and as a husband to the widow. (Deuteronomy 10:18)

Oh my child, listen carefully to my words, allow them to settle deep into your heart and know that ‘my words are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh’ (Proverbs 4:22)

‘Can a mother forget her sucking child that she should not have compassion on the child of her womb? Yes, they may forget yet I will not forget you, I am he that has engraved you upon the palms of my hands’ (Isaiah 49:15-16)

I am forever your ‘Abba’ you’re Daddy, (Romans 8:15) you’re ‘Father’ (Matthew 6:9) the ‘Father of Mercies’ (2 Corinthians 1:3) the ‘God of All Comfort’ (2 Corinthians 1:3)

I am a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) a brother born for adversity and bad times, (Proverbs 17:17)

Live according to my words and when you lie down you shall not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep shall be sweet. (Proverbs 3: 23-24)

I am your God, the ‘All Sufficient one’ (Genesis 17:1). Like a nursing mother I desire to completely nourish and satisfy you and to ‘provide all your needs according to my riches in Glory’ (Philippians 4:19)

I am the ‘Faithful God’ (Deuteronomy 7:9). I am 100% reliable, everything I promise is ‘yes and amen for there is no variableness neither shadow of turning in me’ (James 1:17)

I am the ‘God of Compassion’ (Deuteronomy 4:31). My very nature is one of kindness I am full of compassion and love for you. ‘I tempt no man with evil for there is no evil in me’ (James 1:13)

I am the ‘LORD Who Heals You’ (Exodus 15:26 I am the ‘balm of Gilead (Jeremiah 46:11)

I am he, the one who ‘took your infirmities and carried your sicknesses’ (Matthew 8:18) indeed by my stripes you were (already) healed’ (1 Peter 2:24)

I am the ‘Wonderful Counsellor’ when you are filled with fear, the Mighty God when you feel overcome, the Father of Eternity, and the Prince of Peace when your life is in turmoil. (Isaiah 9:6)

I am the one who collects all your tears in my bottle and I record every one (Psalm 56:8). I will comfort you when you mourn (Matthew 5:4) and I will turn your mourning into gladness (Jeremiah 31:13)

I am ‘The God Of your Life’ (Psalm 42:9) and I am with you (Isaiah 7:14) always even unto the end for I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5)

I am the ‘LORD your Peace’ (Judges 6:24) your ‘Shalom’ I bring you wholeness, completeness, rest, prosperity and health and ‘perfect peace when yourmind is fixed on me’ (Isaiah 26:3)

I am God your Rock: (Psalm 42:10). I the Mighty One am your defender, your stronghold, your protection from all attacks.

I am for you and not against you! (Romans 8:31) I the Lord am on your side and none shall be able to stand against you all the days of your life (Joshua 1:5)

This is my promise to you, ‘No evil shall befall you’ ‘nor plague come near your dwelling place’ (Psalm 91:19)

All this because ‘you have made me your refuge even the most High your habitation’ (Psalm 91:9)

I am the ‘LORD your Miracle, the LORD your Banner: (Exodus 17:15). When you need a miracle I will bring you one,

I am your banner. In the midst of life's raging battles I will bring you victory. (1 Corinthians 15:57)

I am He that is ‘before all things, and in me all things hold together’ (Colossians 1:17).

It is I that ‘uphold all things by the word of my power’ (Hebrews 1:3)

Do not fear for I am your ‘Fortress’ (Psalm 91:2) you’re ‘Stronghold’ (Psalm 18:2) and your ‘Tower Of Strength’ (Psalm 61:3)

I am your ‘Refuge’ (Psalm 46:1) you’re ‘Hiding Place’ (Psalm 32:7) you’re ‘Strength’ (Psalm 46:1) and you’re ‘Shield’ (Psalm 18:30)

I am easy to find for I am the ‘narrow way’ (Matthew 7:14)‘The Door’ (John 10:7)

I am the ‘Way, the Truth, and the Life’ (John 14:6) you cannot stumble in the dark for I am ‘a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path’ (Psalm 119:105)

I am God who sent my son Jesus to die in your place for your sins (Romans 5:8), to take upon Himself the punishment that you deserved (Isaiah 53:5).

I was not willing that you nor any should perish (2 Peter 3:9) so my only begotten Son became the sacrificial lamb and satisfied my righteous judgment (John 1:29)

I am knocking on the door of your heart, waiting for you to let me in (Revelation 3:20).

• I make a choice not to remember them anymore

• (Isaiah 43:25).

When you put your faith in Jesus I forgive you your sins, (Acts 10:43)

You become my adopted child (Ephesians 1:5) and I become Father to you.

• I will always love you (Jeremiah 31:3)

• and there's nothing that can ever separate you from my love

• (Romans 8:38-39).

I alone am your ‘Saviour’ (Isaiah 45:15) you’re ‘Redeemer’ (Psalm 19:14) and your ‘Deliverer’ (Psalm 144:2)

I will always love you (Jeremiah 31:3) and there's nothing that can ever separate you from my love (Romans 8:38-39).

I am the ‘God of your Salvation’ (Isaiah 12:2) you’re Advocate, the counsel in your defence against the accuser of the brethren (1 John 2:1)

I am the great ‘Shepherd and Guardian Of your Souls’ (1 Peter 2:25) the ‘Author and the Perfecter of your Faith’ (Hebrews 12:2)

I have given you my Spirit, a Helper, a Comforter: (John 14:26) as my pledge and my absolute guarantee, (2 Corinthians 1:22)

He is the pledge and the down payment of your inheritance in me.

You are a pearl of great price (Matthew 13:46) a treasure hidden in an earthen vessel (2 Corinthians 4:7) Oh, My beloved, I am yours and you are mine (Song of Solomon 6:3)

I am he that has ‘redeemed you not with silver or gold but with the precious blood of my only begotten Son Jesus Christ’ (1 Peter 1:18-19)

I am with you always, Yes; even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death fear no evil (Psalm 23:4) for I am ‘The Resurrection and the Life’ (John 11:25) and though your flesh will die you shall live.

‘According to my abundant mercy I have birthed you again to an inheritance which is incorruptible, undefiled, one that will never fade away,an inheritance reserved in heaven just for you’ (1 Peter 1:3-4)

I will keep you by my own power as you trust in me, if you fall don’t run away return to me and I will heal your backsliding (Hosea 14:4).

In my house there are many rooms, and in my presence you shall hunger no more for I will feed you and shall lead you to fountains of living waters, I will wipe away every tear from your eye. (Revelation 8:16-17)

I send you an invitation to ‘the marriage supper of the Lamb’ I have robed you in the white robes of ‘my own righteousness’ (Revelation 19:7)

Come quickly for in the place of my dwelling is no more curse (Revelation 22:3)Make haste if you are thirsty, come drink freely of the water of life (Revelation 22:17)

Whosoever believes in my Son has life and shall ‘inherit all things, I will be your God and you shall be my child’ (Revelation 21:7) forever and ever.
