The Secret Birthplace For UncommonWisdom. The Fear Of God Is The Beginning

Of Wisdom. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning ofwisdom: and the knowledge of the holy isunderstanding. For by Me thy days shall be multiplied,and the years of thy life shall be increased,” (Proverbs9:10-11).

“For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouthcometh knowledge and understanding,” (Proverbs 2:6).

“He sent redemption unto His people: He hathcommanded His covenant for ever: holy and reverendis His name. The fear of the Lord is the beginning ofwisdom: a good understanding have all they that doHis commandments: His praise endureth for ever,”(Psalm 111:9-10).

“The secret of the Lord is with them that fearHim; and He will shew them His covenant,” (Psalm25:14).

What You Cannot Get From AnywhereElse But The Bible. The fear of God can

only be produced by His Word. “The law of the Lord isperfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lordis sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of theLord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandmentof the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear ofthe Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments ofthe Lord are true and righteous altogether,” (Psalm19:7-9).

The fear of God is to hate every evil way. “The fearof the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, andthe evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate,”(Proverbs 8:13).

The fear of God keeps you from evil. “The fear ofthe Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abidesatisfied; he shall not be visited with evil,” (Proverbs19:23).

The fear of God brings riches and honor. “Byhumility and the fear of the Lord are riches, andhonour, and life,” (Proverbs 22:4).

The fear of God is strong confidence. “In the fearof the Lord is strong confidence: and His children shallhave a place of refuge. The fear of the Lord is afountain of life, to depart from the snares of death,”(Proverbs 14:26-27).

The Most Important Thing You Will EverTeach Your Child. Your children must be

taught the fear of God. “For I know him, that he willcommand his children and his household after him,and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justiceand judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abrahamthat which He hath spoken of him,” (Genesis 18:19).

The fear of God brings life. “Come, ye children,hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.What man is he that desireth life, and loveth manydays, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil,and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, anddo good; seek peace, and pursue it,” (Psalm 34:11-14).

The fear of God is a personal choice. “For that theyhated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of theLord: They would none of my counsel: they despisedall my reproof,” (Proverbs 1:29-30).

Those who fear God warn each other and sharetheir revelation of Him. “Then they that feared theLord spake often one to another: and the Lordhearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance

was written before Him for them that feared the Lord,and that thought upon His name,” (Malachi 3:16).

Those who fear God will be spared an eternity ofjudgment. “They shall be Mine, saith the Lord of hosts,in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will sparethem, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.Then shall ye return, and discern between therighteous and the wicked, between him that servethGod and him that serveth Him not,” (Malachi 3:17-18).

Two Irreplaceable Benefits For ShowingYour Respect For God. Those who fear

God will receive the healing of God and tread downenemies. “But unto you that fear My name shall theson of righteousness arise with healing in His wings;and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall beashes under the soles of your feet in the day that shallI do this, sayeth the Lord of hosts,” (Malachi 4:2-3).

The fear of God will move you. “By faith Noah,being warned of God of things not seen as yet, movedwith fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; bythe which he condemned the world, and became heir ofthe righteousness which is by faith,” (Hebrews 11:7).

The fear of the Lord perfects holiness. “Havingtherefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanseourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,perfecting holiness in the fear of God,” (2 Corinthians7:1).

The Proof Of Love Is The Absence OfFear. Fearing man is tormenting. Love is

The Cure. “And we have known and believed the lovethat God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth

in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is ourlove made perfect, that we may have boldness in theday of judgment: because as He is, so are we in thisworld. There is no fear in love; but perfect love castethout fear: because fear hath torment. He that fearethis not made perfect in love. We love Him, because Hefirst loved us,” (1 John 4:16-19).

Three Things You Must Never ForgetAbout The Fear Of God.

1. When there is no fear of God, tragedy iscertain to follow.

2. When there is a fear of God, there isguaranteed eventual promotion.

3. When there is a fear of God, He guaranteesprotection of your life and plans.

Eight Things God Wanted You ToRemember. Forgetting is too costly.

Tragedies and disasters are scheduled into yourlife if you refuse to remember.

1. Remember the Source of every blessing. “Butthou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is Hethat giveth thee power to get wealth, that He mayestablish His covenant which He sware unto thyfathers, as it is this day. And it shall be, if thou do atall forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods,and serve them, and worship them, I testify againstyou this day that ye shall surely perish,” (Deuteronomy8:18-19).

2. Remember your vows. “Offer unto Godthanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High,”(Psalm 50:14).

3. Remember the goodness of God. “Blessed be

the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits, even theGod of our salvation,” (Psalm 68:19).

4. Remember to express thankfulness andgratitude to God. “Oh that men would praise the Lordfor His goodness, and for His wonderful works to thechildren of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices ofthanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing,”(Psalm 107:21-22).

5. Remember the wrath and judgments of God.“Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst theLord thy God to wrath in the wilderness: for the daythat thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until yecame unto this place, ye have been rebellious againstthe Lord,” (Deuteronomy 9:7).

6. Remember Lot’s wife. Jesus commanded usto remember her as an example of those who disobeyedHim. Abraham asked God to save Sodom andGomorrah if there were at least ten who were righteousin the city. There wasn’t even ten. But, the angelhonored the intercession of Abraham for Lot, his wifeand daughters and brought the four out. Lot’s wifelooked back, in total disobedience to The Word of theLord. “She became a pillar of salt,” (Genesis 19:26).

7. Remember your losses and enemies.“Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way,when ye were come forth out of Egypt; How he met theeby the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even allthat were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint andweary; and he feared not God,” (Deuteronomy 25:17-18).

8. Remember the words of the apostles andprophets regarding the coming of Christ in the lastdays. “But, beloved, remember ye the words whichwere spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus


Christ; How that they told you there should be mockersin the last time, who should walk after their ownungodly lusts,” (Jude 1:17-18).

Your Dominant Gift Is Whatever You DoMost Easily. The linguist hears

distinctions quickly in learning a new language. Yet,some gifted in languages cannot play a piano! To methere is nothing easier on earth than playing the piano.Playing the piano is like breathing…so easy and simplethat it requires no thought, focus or effort. Does yourcheerfulness flow through you like a river, into yourenvironment? Does your mind calculate numberseasily, without effort?

This is your dominant gift...whatever you do mosteasily.

What To Do When Dark Times Come.Darkness Usually Creates Fear In

Children. Every father has heard the tearful tone of ascared child paralyzed with fear, “Daddy, I’m scared!It’s dark in my room.”

Recognize that darkness comes to everyone. “For,behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and grossdarkness the people: but the Lord shall arise uponthee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee,” (Isaiah60:2).

Do not try to lighten your own darkness. “For Thouwilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlightenmy darkness,” (Psalm 18:28).

Know the Source of light. “The Lord is my lightand my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is thestrength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm27:1).

You are not your own source of Light. God is. “Thestone which the builders refused is become the headstone of the corner. This is the Lord’s doing; it ismarvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lordhath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Blessed behe that cometh in the name of the Lord: we haveblessed you out of the house of the Lord. God is theLord, which hath shewed us light:...Thou art my God,and I will praise Thee: Thou art my God, I will exaltThee,” (Psalm 118:22-24, 26-28).

God is always aware of your darkness. “This is apeople robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snaredin holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are fora prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith,Restore,” (Isaiah 42:22).

God desires to lighten your darkness. “For Thouwilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlightenmy darkness,” (Psalm 18:28).

“How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God!therefore the children of men put their trust under theshadow of Thy wings. They shall be abundantlysatisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shaltmake them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. Forwith Thee is the fountain of life: in Thy light shall wesee light. O continue Thy lovingkindness unto themthat know Thee; and Thy righteousness to the uprightin heart,” (Psalm 36:7-10).

Expect God to bring you light. “And I will bringthe blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead themin paths that they have not known: I will makedarkness light before them, and crooked thingsstraight. These things will I do unto them, and notforsake them,” (Isaiah 42:16).


God is capable of bringing you through your darkplace. “Yea, before the day was I am He; and there isnone that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, andwho shall let it?” (Isaiah 43:13).

Expect your enemy to experience darkness insteadof you. “Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out,and the spark of his fire shall not shine. The light shallbe dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be putout with him,” (Job 18:5-6).

Is It True That Michael Jordan CannotSwim? I read it in a newspaper and couldhardly believe it! This genius on a basketball court…this magnificent specimen of a sports giant…could noteven swim? But, everybody…has a weakness, a failing,a lack. Everybody. There seems to be an establisheddifference on the earth in giftings, talents and skills.What are your gifts? What are your skills? What areyour abilities? You must identify the way God presentlyuses you. How do you identify how God uses you?What are the present opportunities you see? You mustidentify your dominant difference from others.Sameness creates comfort, but your difference createsyour reward. You must know where you are weak.

Awareness births reaching.Reaching guarantees receiving.Know where you are strong. What do you notice

immediately that others seem slow to discern or notice?What can you tolerate that others cannot?

Heart Of Every Leader. Demas Shakarian,impacted me greatly when I was 17 years old. Iattended The Full Gospel Businessmen’s InternationalConference in Beaumont, Texas. He was the renownedand beloved Founder of that organization thatunleashed waves of love throughout the world throughthe motto, His Banner Over Us Is Love. He was morethan a great multimillionaire in business. He lovedpeople. He loved relationship. His son, Richard, is atreasured friend. Richard and I were talking one dayabout his father’s counsel, “Never talk to people beforethey are ready to receive it.” Think on this strongly. Itexplains the behavior of Jesus, refusing to condemn thewoman caught in the act of adultery. Men gathered tostone her. Jesus did not choose that moment to teachthe men on the Power of Mercy, nor the woman on theimportance of Purity. He wrote on the ground, lookedup and told the woman to go and stop sinning from thatmoment on.

The most beautiful plants in the world…wereplanted in the appropriate season. Timing is thegolden ingredient for receptivity, acceptance andchange.

Think on this…when you enter discussions withothers. Ask yourself, “Is this the right place and timeto discuss this? Are the people in this environmentready to receive this, embrace and respond favorably?”

Think on this…when you correct your children inthe presence of others…discuss a raise with yourboss…or speak in a public meeting with a mixedaudience. Ask yourself, “Is this the right place andtime to discuss this? Are the people in thisenvironment ready to receive this, embrace andrespond favorably?” The best soil on earth requires


tilling and preparation…before the Seed enters it forgrowth and eventual Harvest.

Great Thoughts Always Die…In Wrong Places.

It Is Impossible To Live Holy And RightWithout His Authority Over Us. Moralmen fail. Their very independence from God revealsarrogance and the lack of humility. “I will love Thee, OLord, my strength,” (Psalm 18:1).

I require a Source...of power, strength,Wisdom andmotivation. “Keep back Thy servant also frompresumptuous sins; let them not have dominion overme: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocentfrom the great transgression. Let the words of mymouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptablein Thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer,”(Psalm 19:13-14).

When I am in the presence of God, the desire tolive right emerges, becomes stronger andoverpowering.

When I am not in His presence, that desiresubsides, withers and shrinks. Rebellion increases likea giant bear.

“Who is able to make war against satan?” (seeRevelation 13:4).

God.

The Single Prayer That Has ChangedThe Lives Of Over A Billion People. The

word, Gospel, actually means…Good News! And, it isso very true. Those lost…will be found. Thosewounded…will be healed. Those confused…will betaught. Those embittered…will be encouraged. Those

who are weak…will find strength. Those who havesinned…can be forgiven and cleansed through theprecious blood of Jesus Christ. Yet, many whoexperience Jesus…continue to fail in their personallives, relationships and business. Millions who haveprayed what Billy Graham and others have simplycalled, The Sinner’s Prayer, which is...“Jesus, I confessthat I am a sinner, who has sinned and fallen short ofYour expectations. I acknowledge You as my PersonalSaviour. I ask You for mercy, forgiveness and a newheart. Change me. Change my nature. I accept Yourblood and death as the sacrifice for my sins. Take out ofme what satan put inside me. Put back into mewhatever satan took out of me. Confirm that You haveheard my prayer for forgiveness by giving meuncommon peace, uncommon joy and supernatural lovefor others. Do it now, in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”

This simple prayer…can forever change your life.This prayer is the proof of your faith…the proof of

your humility. Your willingness to REACH…foreverchanges the Divine Blessing on your life.

Pray this prayer again…aloud…right now.And…believe!

The Two Parts Of The Gospel ThatAnswer 1,000 Questions. Millions who

have accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour havecontinued to experience great disappointments,failures and sorrows in their personal lives and even intheir businesses. Why? It appears that His Presencethat brings such inner change…would solve everyother problem. At the same time, we see others whonever go to church nor even believe the

Bible…experience great successes in many parts oftheir lives. Is this contradictory and disturbing? Notwhen you understand the two parts of The Gospel.

The Gospel has two sides: the Person of Jesus andthe Principles of Jesus that He taught. The Person ofJesus prepares you for Eternity. The Principles ofJesus prepare you for Earth...for living here. ThePerson of Jesus creates your Peace. The Principles ofJesus create your Prosperity.

One involves The Life…of God, His nature withinyou. One involves the Law of God, deciding yourconduct toward Him and others. One is TheExperience with God. The other is The Expertise ofGod operating through you. One involves The King.One involves The Kingdom.

The Unbeliever…usually embraces the Principlesof Jesus, because they are taught in every success bookwritten! Many authors who reject Jesus, teach HisSuccess Principles in business, love and even finances!Why? Because they work! They produce prosperity!Then, why do they reject The Christ, The Cross?Acceptance Creates Accountability. They reject TheChrist because they do not want accountability fortheir prosperity…accountability for their conduct…accountability to a Divine Judge. Quite like a childwho wants to eat three meals a day, cooked by mother,but despise boundaries and curfew times establishedby daddy.

Every Believer embraces the Person of Jesus. Welove His peace, accessibility and the power ofwhispering His Name when we feel demonic attack onour minds, our family or our body. Yet, few are seriousstudents of His laws. Why? Because we do not want tobe personally responsible for our success. We want God

Himself…to make us successful. God is in control…isthe famed philosophy that both creates comfort whileremoving from our minds the burden of responsibilityfor our decision-making.

In a conference, I mentioned my grave concernover the ignorance of the Family of God. I stressedHosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack ofknowledge.” I pointed out that demons do not destroyus, but rather our ignorance as The Word of Godindicates. Ministers afterwards were a bit glum aboutmy remarks, so I said, “Let’s not argue; I will give a tenquestion test tomorrow night to determine theknowledge level of everyone here.” Two of the simplequestions were…How many chapters are in the Bible?None…nobody knew…in the entire crowd. Question 2:How many books are in the Bible? 95%...did not know!Only 5% knew…in the entire conference. Caseclosed…or, maybe opened…!

Greatness Always Requires AnEnvironment To Expose It. Your

Difference From Others Will Require A SpecificScenario, Season, Potential Reward Or Adversary.Your surroundings decide the emotional Volcano thaterupts within you. Reactions decide rewards.Remember the story of David and Goliath. Thepromise of wealth and the hand of the princessunleashed a passion in his Warrior heart of faith to riseand demonstrate the power of God. David entered theArmy Camp of Saul, saw Goliath and the cowering,shamed armies of Saul. The ideal environment for hisWarrior heart to be ignited. He changed the courseof the nation of Israel in one day.

Greatness Requires An Environment That Exposes

Elephant Facts� Elephants are symbols of Wisdom in Asian cultures and

are most famous for their exceptional memory and highintelligence.

� Elephants are the largest of all land animals.� The largest Elephant on record was shot in Angola in

1956. He was nearly 14 feet tall and weighed 26,400pounds.

� An Elephant’s average life span is 70 years.� The gestation period of an Elephant is 22 months! This

is longer than any other land animal.� An Elephant’s most important appendage is his trunk. It

has over 100,000 muscles and weighs nearly 200pounds! The trunk has a variety of purposes. Theirtrunks are used for eating and drinking. Elephants alsouse their trunks to greet each other like a handshake,wrestle with each other, cuddle with each other, signaldanger and fight off enemies.

Time Has Never Made Anyone Wise. Ageand gray hair does not produce Wisdom. Ihave met 80 year old people still unsaved andrebellious to every Divine influence...so you can staystupid an entire lifetime. I have seen 15 year old youngmen serving God with their whole heart...so yourWisdom can begin in your childhood. Consider the lifeof Saul, who rejected all counsel of the prophet Samuel.His most painful experiences did not create change.Yet, the young shepherd boy, David, had a heart towardGod from his very youth. Most people serving Christtoday began when they were young. The older youbecome, the more calloused and inflexible you become.“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth,while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh,”(Ecclesiastes 12:1).

Hospitality Is A Ministry Of CelebratingSomeone Through Comfort. Abraham,

the Biblical patriarch, mastered the Ministry ofHospitality…to the angels visiting him en route toSodom and Gomorrah. Jesus commended theuncommon attentiveness and Hospitality of the woman

who washed His feet with her tears, kissing them andanointing His feet. (See Luke 7:44-46.)

Hospitality involves the removing of discomfort inan environment...the honoring of another throughkindness, attentiveness and caring. I arrived as atelevision guest of a Christian television network. Mypickup person (and host) commented humorously onhow much luggage accompanied me. A bit puzzled, Iexplained that two weeks of travel necessitated muchof my office work and correspondence be carried withme.

As we drove, I requested that we drop by a drugstore to purchase some personal items.

He said, “Well, we really are running late already.They said to rush you to the station immediately. Wecan pick up what you need later.”

I insisted on stopping anyway. Instead ofremaining in the van while I shopped, he chose toaccompany me to watch everything I purchased. As wecontinued driving, I decided to close my eyes for a fewminutes recuperation before going on the livetelevision program.

My host then said, “I know you are tired but thisis my opportunity to ask you some questions.” Desiringto be an enjoyable guest, I sat up, and patiently beganto answer his questions for 45 minutes. He wascompletely oblivious and insensitive to my needs. Hisinability to assess my needs after a long trip…helpedstir me to strong self-assessment on Hospitality andmentoring my team as well. Master the Art ofHospitality…and you will make yourself unforgettableto others. Failure to do it…and you will still beremembered, but for the wrong reason.


The Most Forgotten Law In TheUniverse. The Law of the Seed is the most

misunderstood law in the world. Seed indicatesBeginning. Everything is a Seed. Time is a Seed.Mercy is a Seed. Patience is a Seed. So is Impatience.Unforgiveness is also a Seed. Deception is a Seed.Tardiness to your work is a Seed. It sends a messagethat you do not care. Disinterest is a Seed.Recalcitrance...rebellion...stubbornness is a Seed.Disrespect to your boss is a Seed…for termination.Inaccuracy is a Seed. Error is a Seed. You can tithe onSunday morning and neutralize it in 24 hours at yourjob.

Obedience Simplifies Your Life. Stress isdeadly…emotionally, financially and

spiritually.That is why obedience to The Holy Spirit is so

important. When you obey His voice, your life will besimplified in ways beyond your imagination.

1. God does not expect you to please everyonearound you. Simply be pleasing in your spirit andconduct.

2. God does not expect you to live withoutadversaries and enemies. He has promised to protectyou and to deal with them in His own special way. (SeePsalm 118:6-9.)

3. God will not give you an instruction that isimpossible to complete or obey. (See Psalm 32:8.)

When God instructed Noah to build the ark, Heeven told him exactly how to build it.

When God told Solomon to build the temple, Heexplained the dimensions of it.

When God wanted to heal Naaman, the leper, Hetold him exactly how many times to dip in Jordan.

God is the Creator…you obey. So, He does notexpect you to come up with creative ways to obey Him.Following instructions simplifies everything.
