Why do we focus on the Procurement Process?

• There was hope for a major change when IBM acquired OCI, the on-line catalog, but plans to offer it alongside Maximo were shut down in 2009

• Maximo customers in general have incorporated a few changes….• More customers using Workflow for Automated Approvals• More using Notifications• Moved from Printing POs, to Manual Faxing, then to

Automated Faxing, and now mostly e-mail.• But, for many that is extent of procurement changes!
