Nutrition Label Creation:
Standard Nutrition Label Most common label
format
If enough space is available, the standard nutrition label should be used.
Tabular Nutrition Label
The tabular nutritional label is primarily used when the total available space is less than 40 square inches.
Linear Nutrition Label
A linear nutrition label format is only used when the labeling space cannot accommodate a standard or tabular label format.
Aggregate Nutrition Label
When individual items are packaged together the aggregate nutrition label is used to list information for each item separately.
Dual Declaration Nutrition Label
The Dual Declaration Label is used when the food requires further preparation. One column lists information for the product as is, the other for the food as prepared.
Child Nutrition Label
The child nutrition label format is designed for items for children under 4.
