Lesson 1: Understanding Flash.
It’s a multimedia software used to create graphics, games, slideshows and
animations can that be viewed, played and executed in Adobe Flash Player.

You can use Adobe flash for fun, business or education
By using Adobe Flash, you can create:
- Slideshows.
- Ads.
- Games.
- Simple animations.
- Animated stories.
- Interactive files.
- Educational games and lessons.
- Cards

1- Open Adobe flash CS4.
2- Click on the flash file (Action Script 3.0 ).
If you are already inside the flash file and you want to create a new flash
file, Go to file → New → Choose the file type → Ok.

If you want to open an existed file ( a file you already created ),
Choose from the recent item list ( the flash file that you opened recently).
If the file is not on the recent item list, click on open

Choose to flash file then click on Open
If you are already inside a flash file and you want to open an existed file.
Go to file → Open → Choose the flash file → Open.

Before you start working in flash, it’s important to know the flash types.
The main flash file types are:
FLA : The File you are working on, where you create the flash content.
SWF: the flash movie or the flash content that you view using a flash
player.
Video files (FLV, F4V and MP4):
Video file types supported by flash player.
