Copy: Take time to relax and enjoy the simple things. How are you relaxing this chilly Saturday? #Libertyscca #studentlife

Justification: This post is encouraging community by asking a question and giving a call to action. The photo is displaying a student in her dorm room looking out the window so it is giving a behind-the-scenes look for what student life is like for SCCA students on the weekend. Community and behind-the-scenes are both aspects that Deanna presented as aims for the SCCA social media. This post appeals to current students, prospective students, faculty, and alumni. This post and the following two all have a common theme of taking time away from school work to enjoy the little things. I used the idea Krista

explained to make a compelling: thinking of an idea, making that plan, and then posting the appropriate copy and picture.

Copy: What do pancakes and SCCA students have in common? Both are sweet and well rounded. So, hike Sharp Top, try out for Coffeehouse, or go tubing at Snowflex. Take time to relax and enjoy student life! #Libertyscca #studentlife

Justification: This is definitely a cheesy post as Deanna told us we could be. It’s targeted towards current SCCA students. It is building a community, as Deanna directed, and encouraging students to go and enjoy student life. It is also applauding students on being well rounded individuals. Beginning the copy with a question draws the audience in faster, especially with having the answer directly following. This also follows the format for developing a compelling post as Krista shared with the class. Krista also spoke about posting positive content, and this post is positive and encouraging to students.

Copy: Listen for a number, stamp the number, and win a gift card #easyenough #libertyscca #studentlife http://bit.ly/1Bj2leV

Justification: This post gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse to prospective a student which is one of the aims for SCCA social media that Deanna had discussed. Also, this reminds current students of an event that is happening at the time, and encourages them to be a part of student life activities. As Dean Mintle says, “Get involved!” The tweet will make the audience winder what it is referring to and prompt them to take a closer look at the picture. This post also followed Krista’s template for developing a compelling post, to have an idea, make a plan, and post a picture and content that execute that plan.
