1. Question 3What have you learned from the audience feedback? 2. There are three main points in our process where we gainedfeedback from our potential audience. These were: From our storyboard From our rough cut From our final production. 3. We decided to show some of our classmates our storyboardso we could gain feedback from them on how our initialideas are going. The main feedback we gained from this was positive withno suggestions on how to improve, the second group weasked but decided not to film suggested: Change the time in the trailer where she finds out abouther stalking, possibly mid way through, so thetrailer builds with tension. Also the panning shot at the end could be changed to justa quick close up of her being taken, so the trailer endswith the audience questioning what happens.Storyboard feedback 4. Storyboard feedback to rough cutOriginalChangedFrom our feedback, we changed the order of the shots sothat she finds out half way through the trailer. When the main characterfinds out shes being stalked 5. Storyboard feedback to rough cutOriginal ChangedWe also changed the panning idea to a still shot and then aclose up to keep up the tension. The ending shots 6. It was important to listen to what our class matesanswered in our interview, as they are a part of ourtarget audience, the main ideas that the picked outfor us to improve on were:1. The music2. The length3. The endingRough Cut feedback 7. Rough Cut feedback 8. Rough cut feedback to final cutOriginal ChangedThe musicWe decided, with the helpof other classmates, thatthe music should be slowso the characters look likethe are a couple and thefilm could be a romance, this would then make thechange from romance tothriller more dramatic. In the beginning of therough cut there was nomusic, only the tensetrack that started about 20seconds in, this made thecopy feel unfinished andunprofessional.Adding the music made the whole trailer feel more finished and linked allof the shots together better. 9. Rough cut feedback to final cutOriginal ChangedWe decided to delete the clip of the conversation where it zooms into herreply. We did this as the conversation clip seemed to drag out, and wedecided that it wasnt needed in order to understand the storyline. The Length of conversation 10. Rough cut feedback to final cutOriginal ChangedIn the original the clip, we had a mid shot of the main character standingthen a quick close up of her being grabbed, whereas in the new one itsa slowed down extreme clos up of half of the characters face. Thechange means that the ending is more tense to keep in with the thrillergenre. The ending 11. Original ChangedWe created a rough poster to show our initial ideas, we knew we wouldntuse this for our final piece but we thought that it would be good to see whatothers think. They gave us feedback which we were thinking- too dark, thehighlights are too contrasting and the title is too dark because it should standout. We used this feedback to help us create our final piece.Poster 15. In the end all the feedback we usedconstructively, we knew we wanted to makeour campaign as strong as possible andconnected to our target audience. Thefeedback from our target audience hascontributed to help us create our threepieces. How the feedback has helped.
