The album “only by the night” by rock band “Kings Of Leon” was released worldwide in January 2008. This is the band’s fourth album, released just days after their third album “because of the times”. The colour scheme is a dark green mixed In with black, giving the effect of a night vision camera which ties in with the album name “only by the night”. The band have chosen to use a font that replicates writing that would be seen when looking into a night vision camera of some sort. The 4 images of the four band members have been merged with an owl to create one very capturing image that will certainly appeal to fans. Under the album name, the advertisement announces that the album includes ”Sex on fire” and “use somebody”. Two singles that was a hit in the world of rock music. Sex on fire hit number one at digital downloads alone, before its 2009 release where it was Britain’s second most downloaded digital single ever. Advert analysis
