What is Affiliate Marketing and Earning a Passive Income
Heres how Affiliate Marketing works (a simplified
version):Website owners or bloggers promote a third partys product
byincluding a link to that product on their website. When a
visitorclicks on that link and makes a purchase from the third
partythe website owner earns a commission.
The easy part (if you are IT literate) is setting up your
ownwebsite and then adding the Affiliate link to that website.
Thehard part, however, is attracting customers to your site to
clickthe link and buy the product. But fear not if you join the
rightprogramme they will teach you how to do this.
To begin with it is not a Passive Income because you have
togenerate content (good quality content) which drives trafficand
customers to your website. Unless you can afford to payfor
advertising then it is a slow process but one which willultimately
earn you that Passive Income.
Tip: Its best to promote a product that you like and believe in
dont try to sell things you have little or no experiencewith.
This is NOT Cold calling your friends and relatives to buy your
Products. Its about learning how to Market your ownor other peoples

I fall into most of these categories, the main one unable to do
my job due to the huge amount of stress it put meunder. I needed to
work, I didnt have a product to sell, Im female and nearly 50.
This is what I did:
1. I searched the Internet for Work from home opportunities and
I found Affiliate marketing via a Free 7 Dayvideo series . This was
all I needed to know.
2. I joined a company called The Six Figure Mentors and launched
myself into my new business (with no priorknowledge of anything
Techy). In the space of 6 months, I have created my own business
online.
3. Set up my own website via WordPress, connect it to all my
social media accounts and market my affiliateproducts around the
world.
4. I work from home, choosing the hours I work either from my
desktop or laptop.
5. I did this with the support from a multinational community
which I actively participate and receive continuousonline training
and updates.
I didnt find it easy, in fact, it can the most frustrating
business on earth (due to my lack of knowledge regarding
ITsystems). But you dont have to have any previous experience
working online or be technical to succeed.But I have an amazing
support team around me who are there 24/7 because they are
international.
