Present simple:
We use the present simple to talk aboutthings that we do often.
Present simple
-s -- -do -- -does.
We add –es when the verb ends in ch, o,x or sh.
Example: He mixes the salad.
Present Continuous:We use the present continuous to talkabout things that we are doing now.
Example: She is making a cake.
Present Continuous.

What happen if the
verb ends in -e?
When the verb ends in –e, we say
bye bye to the -e and we add
only -ing.
Example; You live in Barcelona.
You are living in Barcelona.
When do we add –ing?
We add –ing only with thepresent continuous.
Examples: They are eatingsalad.

In some verbs we don´t add –ing likethe verbs:
