This week I would like to use these jewelry making

instructions as a tutorial. Chainmail and drop-shaped

beads can be utilized to make necklaces in a very

in 6mm, 10mm, and 20mm Jump rings

Red drop beads

White drop beads

Instructions:

Step 1: make chainmail with jump rings

1st, combine 29 pairs of 6mm jump rings together, so the

double-link chain is done;

2nd, slide another 5 pair of 6mm jump rings to a 10mm

jump ring;

3rd, from one end find the 9th, 7th, 5th, 3rd and 1st pair of

links on double-link chain;

4th, connect the 5 pairs (on the 10mm jump ring) to above

links on the double-link chain;

5th, handle the opposite end in the same way;

6th, use another 2 pairs of 6mm jump rings to combine a 20mm jump ring with the 9th link from

both ends;

7th, connect the 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th and 19th links to the 20mm jump ring by another pair of 6mm

jump rings;

8th, the chainmail is done.

Step 2: hang bead onto chainmail

1st, fetch a white drop bead, and make a triangle bail above with the brown copper wire;

2nd, slide a red abacus bead onto the wire and thread the wire through the 15th links;

3rd, continue wire wrapping to finish the wire wrapped loop;

4th, in the same way hang other beads onto the 11th links and 10mm jump rings from both ends;

5th, prepare two bead links with round nose pliers;

6th, pick a piece of iron chain that measures about 25cm;

7th, attach bead links to both ends of the chain;

8th, connect the chain to the whole chainmail.
