Analytics for your site


Step 1:▪ First Log in with your Gmail account

▪ Then go to google. com/analytics & click ‘Sign up now’ link to register with

Google Analytics

Step 2:▪ Now you are on ‘New Account Sign-up’ page where the first step is of

‘General information’

▪ Type your domain name in ‘Website’s URL’ textbox

▪ In ‘Account name’ field, enter any name, preferably your site name which

will be assigned to your site domain

▪ Select your country (India) and it’ll set your time zone accordingly

▪ Click on ‘Continue’ button

Step 3:▪ Add your contact information which includes your first name, last name

and country

▪ If you want to skip ‘Last name’ and ‘First name’ field , just select your

country and move to the next step by clicking continue



Step 4:▪ Go through the ‘Accept user agreement’

▪ Mark the checkbox to agree with the terms and proceed

Step 5:▪ You can also edit your data sharing settings

▪ Click on ‘Edit settings’ and opt for different data sharing setting and

features

Step 5.1:

▪ Choose your data sharing option according to your preference

▪ Use checkboxes to edit your default data sharing option

▪ This will effect your analysis report sharing with Google’s other services

▪ Click on ‘Create new account’ to proceed to the ‘add tracking’ tab



Step 6:▪ Track one or more domain by using ‘What are you tracking?’ option under

‘Add tracking’ tab

▪ Add tracking contains 3 tabs: ‘Standard’ tab for limited tracking options,

‘Advanced’ tab for additional tracking options, ‘Custom’ tab to edit the code

▪ Select your Domain type: single domain for one site & multiple for more

than one domain

Step 7:▪ Copy the tracking code under ‘Paste this code on your site’ field

▪ Track your domain by simply tracking the code into your WebPages

▪ Log in to your Eshopbox control panel with your login id and password

▪ Select ‘Configure Google Analytics’ under ‘Promote’ tab

▪ Copy the tracking code and paste it in the text box on your ‘Configure

Google Analytics’ page and click ‘Save’

Step 10:▪ You have successfully integrated google analytics with your site

▪ You can now go to your Google Analytics dashboard to track your visitors

and see site statistics
