I was born on June 18, 1969 in Manhattan, New York at Metropolitan Hospital. This hospital was seen in the Seinfeld episodes.

My mother name is Dorothy Teachers Smith. My father name is Gaither Smith. These were my first teachers of life. I credit all my strength from them. My father passed February 9, 1985. I was 15 years old. My mother, the head of the family died on October 12, 2012. I dedicate this to my mother.

MY BABIESMy first baby is Jerome Edmond Jr. He was born October 15, 1991 in Roanoke Rapids, NC. He is a very humble person and “MY FIRST LOVE.” A song that I dedicate to him because he taught me how to love and be the mother I am today.

BRIANA

My second is Briana Janay Edmond. She was born December 23, 1992 also in Roanoke Rapids, NC. This is my protector against any and everything. My Mini Mee as I call her, she has been a joy and a pain in my side but, I would not change her for nothing in this world.

NYAMy third baby is precious to me because she came into my life when I did not think I could be a good mother. I thank God for her and I just blush on her. She is an honor student. Nookie as we call her was born April 28, 1998.

J’BRIAMy knee baby is my “Pretty Brown Eyes.” Born September 19, 1999, she was born 80 to the date of her Great Grandmother Bettie Keys. She is a child of God and I just feel the need to protect her at all times. She is a active Basketball player and Volleyball player at her school. She also is an honor student.

JALEN AKA TOOT AKA MOLY

•My baby Jalen Duane Hyman is my last and the favorite of all of us. We love this little guy with everything in us. We all fuss over him and all his sisters think they is his mama. He is spoiled rotten and we would not change it for nothing in the world. He was born January 29, 2007. He has lots of love from my kids and his other 2 sisters from his daddy.

My fiancé is the blessings in my life. He is a handful at times but, his soul is so sweet. He is a worker and does not mind getting his hands dirty. We have been together since 2005 and he is the reason my son his here.

This is my nephew Nasir Pugh. He is the little joy that my mama loved. We all love this little guy and want the best for him in life. Boosie is his nickname.
