Publishing 3.0 is usually used to describe new trends in self-publishing. What does that mean for the future of academic OA publishing? No need for journals as “container” to

transport information. Search and discovery usually direct to

article. “Impact” measured on article level, so

Journal Impact Factors lose meaning. New ways to create user-driven content

specific collections - Open Access. Publishing as a service with the author as

customer and fees based on costs.
