A Brief History

• Established in Dubai in 2005, prior to the construction boom in the Middle East, BuildConsultInternational specializes in the recruitment of senior and technical personnel for the Construction & Property industries across the region and further afield.

• Our area of expertise is recruiting for multi-billion dollar developments and major building &infrastructure projects covering all disciplines from inception through to handover, both at a corporate level and at a project level.

• To date, we have been fortunate enough to have worked on some of the region’s iconicdevelopments and major projects for the leading developers, global consultants and international 1st

tier contractors.

• Notable projects in our portfolio include the $12bn expansion of Dubai International Airport; the$7.8bn Dubai Metro Project; the world’s largest shopping mall, the $1.8bn Dubai Mall; the $1bn Atlantis Hotel in Dubai; the world’s tallest building, the $1.5bn Burj Khalifa; the $18bn Dubai Lagoons project; the $21bn Al Raha Beach development in Abu Dhabi; the iconic $800m Zayed University project in Abu Dhabi and the $490m St. Regis Hotel & Resort in Abu Dhabi.

• Prior to the downturn in Dubai at the beginning 2009, 95% of our placements were recruited from theUK, Australia & New Zealand, Far & South East Asia and South Africa. We are experts in international recruitment and relocations with an enviable track record of success.

• During the downturn in the region, we diversified geographically both regionally and further afield inHong Kong, Australia, India, South East Asia and Africa.

• As the market in the UAE gathers momentum with a number of new major projects underway includ-ing the Expo 2020 development in Dubai and associated projects, we continue to work with our established client base and look to establish new relationships as your preferred recruitment partner.

Contingent Search Assignments• Over the last 10 years we have built an impressive database of over 25,000 candidates, selected

on their experience of having worked on major building and infrastructure projects for the leading developers, global consultants and international 1st tier contractors. Hosted on the latest version from Voyager Software, Voyager Infinity, newly implemented in January 2015 which allows us to search on any aspect of the candidate’s CV.

• In conjunction with our own comprehensive database, we advertise online with the leadingindustry related internet job boards covering the UK, Australasia and South Africa along with having our own dedicated LinkedIn Careers page.

• Our contingency recruitment averages a 92% closure rate and along with our establishedtracking system, we ensure that all successfully placed candidates are monitored during their notice periods ensuring they start with the client on time.

• We assist with the attestation of the required documents for the necessary work permits andresidency visas where we have established agents in the UK, Australia and South Africa.

• We always provide the candidate with a full company profile of their new prospective employerprior to client submittal along with providing details of housing, transport, schooling and banking facilities for the particular country where the position will be based.

• Our Managing Director along with all of the employees of BuildConsult International have livedand worked in the Middle East for a number of years and all have first hand experience of the challenges of living in the region.
