PERCEPTION IS REALITY

This is the greatest lesson that the working world will teach you. Ever feel like what you are putting out (your input) is not translating into what your managers see (output)? Sometimes it takes tweaking something in you to get the point across, without losing yourself (assuming you are working with a rational boss)

iTS TRUE that you can get a JOB done even without PASSION but you can see this from far The road to climbing the ladder comes with many obstacles that if it is not your passion can break you down (not being noticed during promotion time, having a boss that undermines you all the time, putting in long hours without your return, sacrificing me time or family time, working in a company with a low growth path etc), to keep going it must be WORTH it, you need PASSION

I Have met and managed many talented individuals that had great career visions and future but what they put in was not sufficient to make them climb as fast as I did. YOU NEED TO PUT IN THE WORK. YOU NEED TO PUT IN THE HOURS.
