Shared-Lane Markings / “Sharrows”


Designate an exclusive bicyclist space with pavement markings and signage

Benefits:Provide dedicated space, separate from vehicles.Allows bicyclists to ride at a comfortable speed without interfering with

“Lane Diet”A Lane Diet is generally described as narrowing travel lanes from a roadway and utilizing the space for other uses and travel modes. Does not involve reducing the number of travel lanes Benefits
