comments on company’s social posts or even tweets them,

the company won’t answer and overlook it as if they had

not seen it. This portrays to their audience that the brand

doesn’t show interest in engaging with its audience.

Engage with your followers even more successfully, as it

doesn’t take much to reply and you may receive more

engagement and see your follower base, because it shows

your care about your audience.

2. FOCUSING SOLELY ON SALES

The followers do not like to be sold to every single

post you publish. But if you want them to be, then you

must do something amazing. The bigger names out

there aren’t selling in every social post they publish.

They follow the 80/20 rule. 80 times they provide

useful tips, guidance, engage with their customers

and then, of course, 20 times the sales posts every

now and then.

Start conversations instead.

Do not focus on the methods of keeping your social

streams fresh. In its place, start concentrating on

what you are saying and how to actually get in front of

the right audience. Your brand should spend 80% of

efforts in conversing with key individuals online
