Inspite of price rise consumers purchase gold and considers it not an expense but investment.

M/s kashish jewellery is a prestigious name in real gold and diamond jewellery market. As it has spread its aroma of fashion in various markets,the firm has now decided to expand the business in surat.We deal in real jewellery ,especially for women .

We are launching a new range of formal jewellery in our new branch at parle point near sargam shopping center ,surat. A fresh designs of jewellery will be found in our new branch.

With a view to considering the demands of marriage season,we are going to introduce an exclusive bridal collection,which would fetch a great attraction.

As it’s a big project introduced by us in surat , so it’s a peak requirement of huge funds . Even capital will be required for the working capital of the company so company had admitted two new partners nilam and sweta who will individually bring 30 lacs of capital each.

EXPANSION STRATEGY We had started a partnership firm with 3 partners . The

sale for the first 3 years was limited to national locations only. However owing to the demands for the jewellery in overseas, we decided to export the gold jewellery. As a results , we exported jewellery in the third year. With the overwhelming response in India and abroad, we decided to expand and increase our turnover. Therefore we have applied for cash credit loan in order to meet our working capital requirements for expansion.

The place of the showroom is located in the porche area of surat city. Even our target customers like upper miiddle class and rich people are easily available in that area. Also as per anallysis there is not such a big showroom in that area thereby we can easily grab the market.

In the above study we have given an overview of real jewelry market with global as well as an upcoming Indian prospective.

There is an immense scope in Indian market as well as in foreign market. If handled well foreign market can be a gold mine to achieve, but of course there are various factors which make market difficult as well.

So, decision of firm to enter in foreign market is well thought, but poor strategy may make it a nightmare. Various options mentioned herein are subject to choice of management.
