Yahoo client Latitude was looking to drive profitable CPA for their client Gladstone Brookes, a PPI claims company based in Cheshire. Having seen success using search advertising through the Yahoo Bing Network, Latitude decided to expand their use of Yahoo products. Gladstone Brookes were keen to try a new approach and surfacing ads in the content stream with Yahoo Gemini was a logical choice. Despite the client being new to native advertising, the campaign exceeded expectations and outshone competitors.

THE CAMPAIGN

Gladstone Brookes was keen to explore innovative ways to reach consumers at an e�cient CPA. They created a relevant news-like story on how much PPI is still claimed every month, encouraging users to investigate if they could also be entitled to compensation. The sensitive nature of financial content often means audiences don’t like to feel overtly targeted with these ads. Therefore, having a story seamlessly appearing within a content stream worked particularly well.

THE RESULTS

The value driven by Yahoo Gemini has been exceptional. Our client has since increased their spend with us due to the strong performance of the account in terms of tra�c, cost, and quality leads. The CPA for Gemini on this campaign was up to six times lower than the CPA on other channels for the same period.
