Tip 46/50: Merge Multiple Google+ Profiles Together! If, like me, you have several Google accounts (personal, work, etc.) there is a way to merge redundant accounts with your main one (big thanks to +Rahul Roy for bringing this to my attention!) Tip 47/50: Using Your About Tab More Effectively This tip extends upon the idea of elongating the life of your best G+ posts... +Stephan Hovnanian has come up with one of my favourite tips for Google+ and I just had to share it (with his permission of course!). Check out his original post here: http://bit.ly/1glYY7T Tip 48/50: Posting Multiple Photos Per Post You can accompany any Google+ post with a photo gallery - great for story telling! While I have waxed-lyrical to anyone who will listen about how great Google+ is as a mini-blogging platform (see Tip 10: http://bit.ly/OpmlFX) people always come back with “yeah, but all Google+ posts look the same!”. And yes, it is difficult to stylise them as you would on your own blog or carry across your branding elements.

Tip 47/50: Using Your About Tab More Effectively

TIPS FOR YOUR ABOUT PAGE► Tell people what they can expect from your profile and by following you► Keep it updated. You are constantly accomplishing things in your professional and personal life, tell people about them!► Include keywords in your text. If you are a freelance web designer based in London, make sure you include this so that people looking for London-based web designers find you ► Word it for your audience. If you are a professional, don't use slang and emoticons. Likewise, if you are a mommy blogger you can afford to bring a bit more personality

Tip 48/50: Posting Multiple Photos Per Post

HOW DO I UPLOAD A GALLERY?The process is very similar to uploading a photo, with two crucial extra steps► First, click on the “Photo” icon below your post► If uploading from your computer simply click and drag to highlight all the image files you wish to upload, or hold the “Shift” key and click each individual file (slightly different on a Mac - anyone care to help me out?)► If uploading from Google Drive simply click each photo you have previously uploaded (a tick will appear in the top left of the thumbnail)► Click “Add” - at this point you can add captions if you wish and also select the “Album Cover” which will be shown as the main (first) image in your post ► Click “Done” and your post will be populated with the multiple images - Click “Organise” to make any last minute changes before sharing.
