2016 SUPER BOWL ADS 1) 119.9 million people tuned in to CBS on February 7 to watch

Super Bowl 50. This was the third highest broadcast in US history.

2) A total of 63 ads aired during Super Bowl 50 from 53 companies. 17 of these companies were rookies to Super Bowl advertising.

3) The ads took up 49 minutes and 35 seconds, adding up to 22 percent of the entire broadcast.

4) As of the Friday before the game, 40 of the Super Bowl ads had already been posted online. According to You Tube, these ads received an average of 2.2 times more views than those released on game day.

CONCLUSION 5) According to data collected by AdAge, of

the companies that advertised on Super Bowl 50, Wix.com attracted the most visitors on to their You Tube page with 36.5 million viewers. Hyundai was second with 35.9 million online views and Doritos came in third with 33.1 million views.

6) According to Adweek, the top ten most viral ads were shared online over 2.9 million times.
