Black Leotard and wet

hair

This leotard is for the opening section to the song. The

performer will be dancing to these words:

The aim of art is to represent not the outward

appearance of things, but their inward significance

It allows man to express himself, to record the

reactions of his personality to the world he lives in.

Our creativity possess the power to transform, to

illuminate, to educate, inspire and motivate like no

other generation before us.

Everything we create has meaning and that meaning is

something that is unique to us. My art is special to me,

it is my place on this Earth in reality and out of it.

The black puts more focus on the performance rather

than an over the top costume creating a character.

Also a leotard is commonly associated with the art for

of dance.

The wet hair from the performer creates the feeling

that she has been sweating a lot. This shows that she is

determined to become the best that she can be and

express herself.

Lace body suit

The lace body suit idea came from the music

video ‘Where have you been’ by Rihanna. I

thought that it was a very stylish look and

one that could be used in the dance sections

of the music video.

The henna art on the

arms I feel will suit the

style of the costume.

Black turtle neck

The black turtle neck is for one of the green

screen sections, which will also be

accompanied by a black bob style wig. The

background and face will change colour but the

shirt and the wig will stay the same.

Piet Mondrian Section

In the Piet Mondrian inspired section

of the video the performer will be

centre of this image that I have created

on PowerPoint. She will be wearing a

dress/ top and skirt that matches the

image.

I could encounter problems with the

green screen if I decided to do a close

up or a Dutch tilt.
