Wedding Diet plans and health tips for the
bride
Last December, my elder sister got married in Mumbai and one of her biggest concerns were to
lose a significant weight before her big day. She is not bulky but a proper shape is all she
required. The pressure to look good and to be different from everyone else leads many women to
follow some extensive diets plans and heavy workouts in gym to show off her beautiful belly and
her slim figure.
There are diets in the market that promises to lose a certain amount of weight before the wedding
but remember these diet plans are temporary and there are chances that they will harm your body
in certain ways and we know, one does not want to take risk before the big day.
Set a Target:
All of the girls want to lose a certain amount but one should remember the thin line between
losing weight and ruining your body. Rather than trying to look like a celebrity, you should
remember your body type and keep in mind the attire which you are going to choose for the big
day. Set a target, be it losing only 3-5kgs but stay focused on your target. Choose a dietary plan
according to your age, height and medical conditions.

A balanced diet goes a long way:
There are many hustles and bustles when the biggest ay of your life knocks on your day and we
understand that following a regime of right food is very difficult. Try to eat home-cooked meals
and try to avoid junk foods. Include fresh fruits, whole grains and food that are rich in protein
like fish, meat, daal, and soy.

Spend few hours in Gym:
Few hours of cardio and cycling during the hours before the wedding can really help you in
shedding few extra kilos. Set an hour and ask your trainer to help you in losing extra weight from
your love handles. Walk-run-yoga-dance these four are among those exercise which will help
you in shedding weight as well as help you stay relaxed and calm.

Whatever you do, remember that you are the star of the evening and you must not do anything to
hamper the big day. People are going to love you even if you have extra kilos only if you know
how to present yourself.
