My husband and I rented a rustic palapa in Yelapa, Mexico

Yelapa is so remote you can only get there by tiny, scary little boats (see above). There are no cars, and

electricity is optional.

The minute we got off our boat, this very friendly guy adopted us. He must have known we like dogs!

He hung out with us on the beach.

And taught us how to relax….

When we were touring around the city….

…he went with us whenever we went. Instant tour guide!

And he slept outside our room door every night.

Someone should call the people at Hilton…this is nice, but I miss my vacation dog!

(p.s. please don’t tell my dogs at home that I had a vacation fling)
