A Collaboration – Their Story
Katrina’s husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) more than seven years ago. When she volunteered at the Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana (PSCKY), she met Rick Czerwonka, an artist who was also diagnosed with PD.
Rick spent the last twenty-five years as a painter and sculptor creating unique works of art in acrylics, oils, clays, and wood, and is now creating wearable handmade art jewelry in porcelain, silver, and glass.
His porcelain pendants were a perfect match for Katrina’s pearl and gemstone necklaces.
Thus, a beautiful collaboration was born. Each of Katrina’s necklaces and Rick’s porcelain pendants are one-of-a-kind and are works of art you will treasure for a lifetime.
