PACK 94: Your Scout Needs YOU!

DUTIES OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIRPERSON: • Make use of the local media to publicize and promote Pack activities. Include:• Local Newspapers/Radio/TV• Community Calendar Websites• Church/School Bulletin Boards• Business Marquees (banks, restaurants, etc.)• Circulate flyers, pamphlets and posters• Work with the Membership Chair to organize recruiting events• Stimulate Pack service projects in the chartered organization and community• Promote family participation in all Pack events• Urge Pack participation in appropriate community programs• Other duties as assigned by the Committee

Estimated Time Requirements:• 0-2hrs/month - Pubicize events• 2hr/month (Aug-May) - Committee Meeting Reports

Suggestions:• Comfortable with computers, the internet• Comfortable with photography -- definitely not required, but would be a huge plus!

NOTE: A uniform is NOT required for this position.
