DESCRIPTION

1 in 10 people suffer from food poisoning every year, this doesn’t just happen from eating out and the food we cook at home can do this too. When we heard this we decided to put together an infographic to help people store their food in the safest way so it doesn’t end up poisoning them. Majority of the foods that can potentially poison you require being stored in the fridge which is why we have guide on how to organise your fridge. Most fridges usually have three shelves. The top shelf is the warmest part of a fridge, the middle is neither too warm nor cold, and finally the bottom shelf is always the coldest part of a fridge. The temperature of the door racks always changes due to being exposed to the warm air of the kitchen so if you have temperature sensitive items, you should avoid the door rack. Instead use if for items such as drinks, condiments, sauces, and dairy products. It is very important to set the temperature of your fridge right as well. It should always be 5 degrees Celsius or below! But to ensure you have the correct setting, please always refer back to the manual. Fridges do change from manufacturer to manufacturer. Check our infographic for the full details on how you can store your food correctly in your fridge.
