Introduction• James Bond made the tuxedo look for the last few decades and our own Bollywood

actors don them from time to time. Although we have grooms and men in general paying patronage to conventional suits, kurtas and Sherwani, a growing number are keen in trying out mens tuxedos for weddings and other occasions.

• If you are thinking about getting one tailored, then there are few things that you should know and to start with the basic difference between a suit and a tuxedo.

• The main and the noticeable difference between a suit and tuxedo is the use of satin in tuxedo where the satin is used in areas like trim of pocket, buttons and lapels but suits have none. Tuxedos are all about looking crisp and sharp where you can accessorize it a bit by adding a pair of classy cuff links and the traditional thing to wear with a tuxedo is a bow tie although some people wear ties too.

Accessories with mens tuxedos -

• The next accessory that needs to be given utmost attention is the socks and shoes. It is a must rule that the socks should match your trousers and don’t be under the impression that since it’s concealed under the trousers then you can wear your ankle socks, it’s a strict no. Your sock should be formal, fresh and should match the trousers you are wearing .Coming to shoes, black is the best. A shiny pair of shoes is the first thing people will notice when you walk in those mens tuxedos

Convenience of custom made tuxedo

• If you want to look good in your tuxedos then plan around 6-8 months ahead of your big day and start getting in shape as that flabby stomach and slouched shoulder will not look good irrespective of the additional paddings you add in your suit. And get in shape by the last month so that you can order your custom made tuxedo, as those are tailored as per your body shape and the additional features and accessories will look good on them. These are some minor things that are required attention for you to look like a style icon on your big day.

But what they don’t understand is when you buy a suit of the rack, you must understand that the machine which makes it had some predefined set criteria for it and mostly people go for them as they know that the custom made one will have minimal effect on them. Bespoke suits are expensive compared to the rest mainly because of the limited options you have in customizing them in every minor aspect of tailoring your suit.
