We have solved user interface scalability In our platform presentation and functionality is separated. This allows matching the user interface style to the industrial design for a richer user experience. The interface is composed using "multiple layers with unique animation "and motion behavior creating "the sense of craftsmanship.

HIGH FIDELITY FOR THE EMBEDDED WORLD Koru is the only company that can provide a scalable platform, UX design and platform integration services. Our unique Design by Prototyping process provides smooth development from idea to finished product. We implement our customers designs or we can design user experiences for our customers or any hybrids of it.
Different clocks provide a great example how easy it is to create different user interfaces using Koru."The basic digital clock used in a status bar on the left is only 4 lines of XML. All clocks leverage the clock widget. Changing the background from cyan to orange is one line in the style sheet. Analogue clocks are constructed by adding a background watch face, hour hand, minute hand and second hand. The shape can be round or square. Additional functionality can be added like date or notification alerts. It is easy to make functionally different creative clocks. Making the yellow Submarine 24h watch is a 15 minute job with 17 lines of XML. A total of 174 lines of XMLwas used to build these 8 different clocks.
CRAFTING UNIQUE USER EXPERIENCES

Our SDK and on-line tutorial help developers get started. It includes all the "UI components and examples of how to create functionality using C. The UI emulator gives developer and "instant ability to review and test the design. Same tools can be used from first proto-type to final product. We let designers and developers use their favourite tools. We have a script for Photoshop that crops and names assets. For user interface design you use your favourite text editor.

KORU IS READY FOR PRIME TIME
• Koru has been in development since 2008. 3rd incarnation: Between 2010 and 2012 the framework was extensively tested for user interface design and differentiation at Fjord, where it was used many customer prototypes ranging from large TV to small smart watches.
• Koru was incorporated in spring of 2013 creating a unique company able to both design beautiful user experiences and build them. Koru means Jewellery in Finnish. Beauty is our cultural anchor.
• Previously the Koru team has created mobile experiences that have been used by more than 1BN user across the globe.
• We have built a fully functional smart watch using STM32 microcontrollers with native Chrome-art hardware accelerator support. Its UI performs at 200fps allowing us to slow down and save battery.

Developers are conquering… the home
There are a lot of things that we’re not going to be able to build. We want to work with developers who bring other great ideas in the mix. […] The iPhone was great - it had 5 apps on it when it shipped. Now it has a million apps on it. The opportunity in the home is going to be pretty close. Tony Fadell
