Introduction Managing and enabling knowledge is key to

success in our economy and society. Supporting individuals in their personal knowledge management is therefore crucial. Current manual tools for personal knowledge management have its own limitations. There fore, we have to use the current internet or web technology to overcome the management issues correlated with the present day knowledge society. Now a day Google provides variety of applications which are suitable to manage all spheres human life and work.

The present paper is intended to explore the usefulness of Google App’s for managing the personal knowledge in the day to day work and life.

PKM Defined? Personal Knowledge refers to any kind of

knowledge which is constructed, refined and used by a person during his or her activity. Managing and enabling knowledge is crucial for all round growth and development of any individual in our society.

PKM is a collection of processes that an individual learner needs to carry out in order to gather, classify, store, search, and retrieve knowledge in one daily activity.

PKM helps individuals to cope up/ overcome the barriers which is the out come of issues related to–

Traditional tools like notes, calendar entries, work dairies etc are have its own inherited limitations. To over come this issues now we can adopt the latest web tools.

Among the new web tools, Google and its associated applications (Google App’s) have wide range of applicability in our day to day work and life.

ConclusionThis paper has proposed some of the Google App’s

which are useful for managing knowledge among individuals in their daily work and life. These tools offer ample technological pop up for collaborative work that considerably extends the cognitive abilities of individual and the group in terms to work across major human limitations to manage the volume and detail of information, geographic distance, asynchronous working hours, and even language. It is proposed that further research may be carried out to check the possibility of the application of more web tools like SNS for better management of personal knowledge.
