at East Sussex Falconry is to introduce you to this magnificent
pastime in beautiful locations, to share with you our passion for
raptors and above all make your hands on experience a time to
remember. With interaction with our birds and lots of hands on time
with a little learning on the way too.
Falconry Experiences
An East Sussex Falconry Experience is the ultimate way to
discover our amazing birds of prey. Your day can start with a step
back in time as a falcon graces your fist and a 15th Century moated
castle as the backdrop.
Falconry Displays
Afternoon session:This will involve the enjoyment of flying
hawks and falcons. These birds are larger and you will notice the
weight difference when they are standing on your gloved fist. Then
we will lead a short walk with a hawk where you will feel its grace
and power as he glides to your gloved fist.
Falconry Dayout
Imagine walking through the ancient grounds of Herstmonceux
Castle as hunters did thousands of year ago with birds of prey.East
Sussex Falconry is proud to offer Hawk Walks with its pair of
Harris Hawk brothers to individuals, groups or for corporate events
in Sussex. Arrive at this beautiful location for your introduction
to the birds and briefing as to what to expect throughout the
day.
Then, Ash and Cedar will guide you through the amazing woodlands
looking for prey at the same time from high up in the trees before
swooping above your heads to the next tree. This is the ideal
opportunity to combine walking with the art of falconry. Fly the
birds to the fist and get up close and personal to our amazing
birds during the day.
