Symbiosis
Symbiosis comes from the Greek symbiosis meaningful and
meaningful life. Symbiosis is an interaction between two organisms
that live side by side.
Symbiosis is an interaction pattern that is very close and special
between two different kinds of living things. Living things that do symbiosis called symbionts.
The Kinds of Symbiosis :
• Mutualism• Commensalism• Parasitism
Definition and Examples of Mutualism
• Symbiotic mutualism is the relationship between fellow creatures is mutually beneficial, so in this relationship both parties are not harmed.
• For example:Symbiosis between a buffalo with starlings.Buffalo make a profit by expiration ticks on her, while starlings feel lucky because getting food in the form of lice.
• Symbiosis between butterflies or bees with flowering plants.Butterflies and bees need nectar found in flowers as food. Flowers need a butterfly or a bee to assist the process of pollination
